More than 35 households have registered for Saturday’s event, which will feature everything from furniture and tools to collectibles and original artwork.
Event organiser Robyn Moore said the event was now in its third year. “It continues to go from strength to strength,” she said.
“Last year we had about 20 households participating up from about 15 in the first year. It just grows every year.”
Ms Moore said maps would be on sale from 8am on Saturday at the Romsey Hub at 96 Main Street, Romsey.
“They’re $3 each,” she said.
“Last year we sold about 150 maps so we’re hoping to get at least that many people come along again.
“I always ask where people are from – they come from all over.
“We get people from all the local towns, but even people from Hoppers Crossing, Geelong, just everywhere.
“They come from far and wide and a lot of people actually bring trailers.
“Some of the people who are hosting a garage sale are actually doing it as a fundraiser for our Relay for Life which is in March.
“There’s also our local playgroup, which is using it as a fundraiser.
“It’s something that brings the whole town together.”
The Romsey Whole Town Garage Sale is on this Saturday from 8am to 4.30pm.
