They are mixing together a love for food, organics and people hoping that what comes out is a place where people can learn and enjoy the wonder of the whole food lifestyle.
The Wholefoods Kitchen, to open in September, will offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks, wholesome take-home meals, coffee and fresh juices.
Owner Darren Murphy said the team will aim to provide freelance food customers.
He said produce availability will inspire the dishes served in the kitchen.
Customers will be provided with varied meals and also options for those on a health kick.
He said the team will aim to offer seasonal staples like crunchy summer salad salads and hearty winter soups, tagines or curries.
"We are hoping we can do home style cooking with whole foods," he said.
He said staff will cook meals in the kitchen for both the cafe and for sale in the wholefoods grocer.
"In time we will be able to provide cooked meals for people to take home," he said, "Looking at how busy people are and then supporting them with this."
Mr Murphy, a chef of eight years, said this was his most exciting project yet.
"We have built our employees from six to 22 in eight years, now we will be upwards of 30 employees," he said.
