Acting chief executive Tony Walker presented the awards at a special ceremony on Wednesday in front of the recipients' families and colleagues.
"The presentation night was a great opportunity to recognise the extraordinary efforts of our staff and to celebrate that with their families," he said.
"We celebrated the achievements of those who have spent nearly all of their working lives helping others.
"We had four paramedics who were presented with long service medals for 30 or more years."
MICA paramedic Sue Lucas was presented with the National Medal for Service.
The honour is approved by the Governor-General and awarded to emergency service and defence service personnel who have served diligently for a period of 15 years.
Ms Lucas said she got her first start in the field about 20 years ago at the Heathcote branch as a community officer.
"I was taken under the wing of Danny Lumby, very well known in ambulance circles for his support and mentoring," she said.
She was then employed by Ambulance Victoria, where she did her initial training for six months, and then started as a single responder in Kyneton - the first female paramedic to work in the role.
Ms Lucas said she was honoured to receive the award for the service she had done for the community.
"My passion is helping people, in particular through my work in emergency services," she said.
"Not only do I love helping people requiring health care but it's also important to me to mentor, support and educate others.
"I've been given so much support and mentoring through my career, I feel a responsibility to pass on support and information."
Other paramedics who received significant awards included Ian Gibson, a paramedic awarded for his 35 years' long service; Trevor Cartwright, a paramedic awarded for 30 years' long service; Dave Newman, a senior paramedic team manager awarded for his 25 years' long service; and MICA paramedic Adam Howman was awarded for 10 years' long service.
The dedicated volunteer service of two Community Emergency Response Team members was also celebrated, including the presentation of a five-year service certificate to Pyramid Hill CERT volunteer Cheryl Bartels.
Kerang ambulance community officer Ken Jenkins was presented with medals for 25 years Long Service.
