In front of a massive crowd at Huntly that paid a record gate of $43,000, the Cats dominated from start to finish to win 21.14 (140) to 7.4 (46) in a flawless display.
Cats co-captain Nathan O'Brien won the VCFL Medal for his role across half-back.
Others in the best for the Cats included ruckman Liam Main, midfielders Adrian Dohnt and John Halloran, lively forward Lachlan Collins and half-back Simon Keleher.

Colbinabbin stormed back into the game after trailing by 12 goals at one stage, before its comeback fell agonisingly short.
Mount Pleasant's Andrea Wilson was named best on court.
Meanwhile, in the Loddon Valley Football League, Newbridge set up a grand final against Bridgewater next week.
The Maroons were too strong for Pyramid Hill in today's preliminary final, winning 14.13 (97) to 7.8 (50).
