Owner and operator of Eagles Boys Bendigo Chris Rosetta started his business in 2005 and is eager to give back to the community that has helped him keep his doors open.
To mark Eagle Boys Bendigo 10-year anniversary, the store will be donating 50 pizzas via the Happiness Fund to the Bendigo Give Me 5 for Kids 3BO Game Day being held on May 30 at Flight Centre Park.
Eagle Boys’ Happiness Fund has been developed to assist any person or group who needs a ‘helping hand’ and live or work within Eagle Boys’ delivery area.
Give Me 5 for Kids is a national campaign which helps communities fundraise for local sick children and their families.
Money raised in Bendigo will go directly to Bendigo Health’s Paediatric Ward to buy much needed medical equipment.
Mr Rosetta said he could not have guessed that his career at the McIvor Road store would offer the variety, longevity and reward that has kept him in business over the past decade.
“It has been such an enjoyable, professional feast,” he said.
“We have been able to build our business and reputation within our local community while benefiting from the exposure and support of a national brand. It has proven to be a winning recipe.
“There have been a lot of changes in the Bendigo retail landscape – but Eagle Boys has been able to stand the test of time.”
Nick Vincent, Eagle Boys General Manager Retail, said the Bendigo business was positioned within the national franchise group as one of the company’s great success stories.
“Chris’s store has become a reputable local business that embraces the Eagle Boys promise – to deliver delicious, great value pizzas to customers,” Mr Vincent said.
“We are so proud of Chris’s commitment to his customers, local community and his passion for making the Eagle Boys business a success story.”
