In what is the grand final re-match, YCW will host defending champions Calivil United, with the winner cementing its spot at the top of the ladder.
The Demons were too strong in last year’s grand final, but the Eagles have been in red-hot form winning four straight games.
Calivil coach Kirsten Pollock said the team was focusing on putting together a strong 60-minute performance on court.
“We have had close games against Mitiamo and Bridgewater, so as a team we are really taking it one week at a time,” she said.
“We are focusing on what we need to work on and not what the opposition is doing.”
This week the Demons have been fine tuning their game.
“YCW are strong all over the court, their defenders are strong and so are there shooters and you can’t have made a grand final without having a good midcourt,” Pollock said.
“This week hasn’t been about trying to find a weakness in their game it has been about working on our style of game.”
