Bains will be the special guest at the annual High Flying Hawks Club lunch hosted by the Huntly Football Netball Club ahead of the senior match against Colbinabbin.
It will be a special home coming.
Bains played in an under-12 premiership team at Huntly before he moved to Melbourne.
He joined St Kilda in 2011 and serves on several AFL sub-committees.
Bains has degrees as a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University. He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2002.
He was the joint recipient of the AFL’s Graeme Samuel Scholarship for 2015, along with Rosie King from the Geelong Football Club and receives $20,000 from the AFL for future study or professional development.
