Bendigo's Stephen Storer is one of three people within the state to be nominated for the coach of the year award at the annual Victorian Tennis awards.
Storer has had a busy 12 months implementing new programs and coaching several of the regions rising tennis stars.
He has been the head professional coach at the Bendigo Bank Tennis Complex for about 17 years and has overseen the development of hundreds of aspiring players.
Over the past year Storer has chaperoned 22 students to the Gold Coast for a training trip, has coordinated the Super 10's and Super 12's competition and is now in the process of organising a trip to France in 2016 for 20 local players.
Echuca's Sarah Crossman has also been nominated for the most outstanding volunteer award.
She has been key contributor to the Rich River Tennis Club, Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis Association and the wider Loddon Campaspe Regional tennis network.
Crossman has also dedicated many hours over the years to coordinating and organising local tournaments.
The awards will be presented on June 29 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
