Mercy Health Aged Care home last week showed appreciation to their volunteers by hosting an afternoon tea along with a range of other activities. Volunteers and residents were treated to a special performance by a local band while enjoying afternoon tea.

The day was to celebrate National Volunteers Week which recognises the hard work and dedication given by volunteers across many different fields. This years theme 'Give Happy, Live Happy' aims to spread the message that volunteering not only benefits those you are helping but there are also personal benefits that come from being a volunteer.
