Bendigo won 62-nil.
Ballarat had no answer to the power running of the Bendigo forwards nor the elusive running of the Bendigo backs.
The first try was in the 15th minute when Ryan Spedding eluded several defenders in a 30-metre dash to the line.
Spedding scored a second try late in the match after he re-gathered a chip kick.
Eight other players scored tries as Josh Manderson kicked five conversions and Fareni Moefaauo one.
Bendigo led 26-0 at the break and 38-0 at 10 minutes to go. The Miners scored four tries in the last 10 minutes.
Best players included wingers Spedding and Keegan Steedman, full-back Manderson, five-eighth Moefaauo and prop Blake Theunissen.
Next Saturday the Miners play Cerberus at Crib Point.
Scorers: Spedding 2, Maiai, L. Tuitupou, Bowman, Petelo, Fagavao, Manderson, Palelei, Theunissen tries; Manderson 5, Moefaauo goals.
