Jimmy's first hit-out with the under-9s was watched by family and some who were there when his dad, Damien lined up in an under-12s match 25 years ago.
Jimmy and Damien both played their first matches at Long Gully Reserve.
Those watching Damien play 25 years earlier included his dad, David Webb, as well as Des and Tommy Nicholson.
Memories of Damien's first goal are strong as David ran from being goal umpire to congratulate his son.
He has passed away, but David Webb's contribution at North Bendigo is remembered by many.
A long-time senior player for the Bulldogs, Damien was rapt to see Jimmy play.
"It's an exciting day," said Damien who was goal umpire as partner Missa watched on.
Damien's daughter Macaylah is playing for North Bendigo's under-18 girls this year and Lily may play in the future.
