The Bendigo Academy of Sport trio have just returned from their trip to Thailand with the Australian Youth boy’s team.
Crawford and Pryse were a part of the junior squad, while Broadbent was an assistant coach.
“The whole squad worked really hard,” Broadbent said.
“The boys played really well considering the teams they played were a lot more experienced.
“It was great to work with others coaches from across Australia and listen to their ideas and strategies
“The squad was outstanding to work with as all the boys wanted to improve, so when they were provided with feedback from the coaches they tried to implement it into their game.”
The trio will now turn its attention to a camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra in July.
There, they will take part in training sessions, a tournament and get to have a glimpse of a world league game in Sydney between Australia and Brazil.
Broadbent said before the training camp he would focus his attention on coaching the under-16 Victorian team.
“Now Jameson and Jemuel are part of the Australian Youth Team they want to stay in the program and continue to develop and improve their skills and knowledge,” he said.
