- A car fire on the Sandy Creek-Barnadown Road in Bagshot is being investigated by police.
The fire occurred at about 11pm on Saturday night.
The car, owned by a Melbourne resident, was totally destroyed in the blaze.
- A man was taken to Bendigo Health this morning, after he crashed his car on the corner of Lloyd and Jennings streets in Bendigo.
The crash occurred at about 5am this morning when a man in his early twenties collided with a parked vehicle.
Acting Sergeant Travis Dole said the man was taken to Bendigo Health with "a gash to his forehead as result of hitting the windscreen."
"There was a passenger laying down in the back of the car at the time of the incident," he said.
Sergeant Dole said the passenger was unharmed in the crash.
Sergeant Dole said the driver of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol.
- At about midnight last night Georgina and Jayson Strahan had their white Nissan Pintara stolen from their driveway on Jobs Gully Road in Eaglehawk.
In the car was more than $1000 worth of Mr Strahan's baseball equipment.
Bendigo police confirmed reports of the theft but said inquiries were still pending.
"It was 12.10 am when I heard a car start just out the front of our house and take off as soon as it started," Mrs Strahan said.
"Thinking it sounded strange as I hadn't notice any cars out the front earlier, I got up to check the husband's car to see it gone.
"I woke my husband and called the police.
"My husband and a few of his friends drove around until 2 am to see if they could find it but no luck.
"They have to have pushed it from where it was sitting in our driveway to the road as when I heard it start it was gone in a matter of one second."
