A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm after the van she was travelling in collided with a Ford Falcon on Edwards Street outside Strath Village Shopping Centre.

The 70-year-old driver of the Toyota Hiace van was exiting the shopping centre onto Edwards Street when he failed to give way to the oncoming Falcon.
The Ascot man will be issued with a ticket for failing to give way. The 39-year-old woman was the only passenger in the vehicle.
The green Falcon, driven by a 27-year-old man from Golden Square, sustained damage to the front and side panels.
