Melbourne-based neurologist Dr Wesley Thevathasan will present his research in deep brain stimulation.
Associate Professor David Finkelstein will speak about his role as the head of the Parkinson's disease laboratory at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health.
His research investigates the relationship between growth factors and exercise in Parkinson's.
Toby Osborn, of Parkinson's Victoria, said the aim of the lectures was to make the latest research accessible to those living in regional Victoria.
He said the lectures would be useful for the family and friends of anyone encountering Parkinson's.
It is the first time the InSearch Parkinson's Research Series has visited regional Victoria, having held a lecture in Warrnambool last week.
The lecture runs from 6pm to 7.30pm at Room ENG 211 CLT at La Trobe University Bendigo.
