For the third time this season, Golden Square passed the 50-goal mark.
At the final whistle, Golden Square led 57-33.
In its four matches, Square has scored 55, 78, 47 and 53 goals.
The Golden Square line-up will be back on its home court at MyJet Oval for next Saturday’s match against Kyneton.
Sandhurst teamed superbly to win by seven goals against Maryborough at Barkers Trailers Oval in Princes Park.
The Magpies led 10-8 at quarter-time before the maroon and blue hit back to win the second quarter, 10-4, and lead by four goals at the long break.
Maryborough’s play lifted in the third term.
The Pies were down by a goal at the start of the final quarter.
Sandhurst forced some turnovers as it surged to a 38-31 victory.
Also unbeaten in A-grade, Sandhurst takes on Kangaroo Flat next round.
The Roos dominated play at Eaglehawk to win by 40 goals.
Playing indoors at the Peter Krenz Leisure Centre, the Kangaroos' slick passing was capitalised on by the goalers.
Kangaroo Flat won every quarter, 15-3, 12-7, 24-4 and 13-10.
The Kangaroos led 64-24 at the final whistle.
Strathfieldsaye dominated in all thirds of the court as it beat Castlemaine by 46 goals at Flight Centre Park.
Storm surged to a 14-3 lead at quarter-time and was ruthless in the next as it led 29-5 at half-time.
A key factor in Strathfieldsaye’s play was its defence as Castlemaine was held to 10 goals in the opening three quarters.
The Magpies fought back to score seven goals in the last term as Storm won 63-17.
Strathfieldsaye will be chasing consecutive home wins when it plays Maryborough next round.
