David Morris, Brad Holland and David Keenan took out the Victorian triples championship on Sunday, before backing up on Monday to win the fours state title with Gary Ryan.
The East team-mates played 160 ends of bowls over three days to win the two state titles.
“For one club to win two state titles is a big effort,” an elated skipper David Keenan said.
"You're playing against the best teams in Victoria, including the metropolitan area and there's so many good players involved.
"It's very hard to win and it wouldn't happen very often that one club wins the triples and fours in the one year."
Keenan was the hero of the fours grand final win over Bairnsdale, producing a miracle shot with the final bowl of the match to secure victory.
East led 14-10 with one end to play, but Bairnsdale held four shots and looked set to send the final into extra ends.
However, Keenan’s forehand was perfect, touching the kitty to draw shot and give his team a 15-10 victory.
"I played a big, wide draw and it fell in for a toucher,'' Keenan said.
"I didn't want to play another end, so I was very relieved."
East defeated Portland RSL 17-11 in the round of 16, Yarra Glen 22-11 in the quarter-finals and Cheltenham 13-11 in the semi-finals.
East faced Bairnsdale in the grand final who had thrashed Northern Gateway 22-11 in their semi-final clash.
The Bendigo East team defeated Traralgon’s Ian Hilsley, Michael Yacoub and Ian Kirkup 14-10 in Sunday’s triples grand final.
The East trio had survived three thrilling matches from the last 16 through to the semi-final just to advance to the grand final.
Bendigo East edged out Colac 20-18 in the last 16, Shepparton Golf 20-17 in the quarter-finals and Cheltenham 16-15 in the semi-finals.
Bendigo East’s women’s triples of Glenda Holt, Bronwyn McDermott and Susan Howes (s) made it to the quarter-finals before bowing out to Glenroy 17-14.
The state finals continue at Bendigo East Bowls Club until Thursday.
