The show is featuring a segment on children's pole dancing classes at Bendigo's Z Fit Studios. It is expected to air later this week.
Children pole dancing was put into the spotlight at the Bendigo Easter Parade when negative comments emerged on "thumbs up, thumbs down" Facebook pages.
Owner and manager of Z Fit Studios Saari Frochot-Ryan said The Project didn't want to focus on the parade.
"The Project contacted me last week wanting to present a story on kids pole dancing," she said.
"They didn't mention the parade but that's how they found out about it."
The show will film the children's, teenager's and parents and children pole dancing classes.
Ms Frochot-Ryan said it will be good for people to see the classes.
"It will just be kids in the classes having fun and doing exercise. There is nothing sexual about it at all," she said.
"It's about fun and fitness, that something we aim to do here. The fun, friendly side of things helps boost people's confidence."
Ms Frochot-Ryan said it was frustrating when people put ill-informed, negative comments online.
"I don't mind people having an opinion but ill-informed comments are frustrating," she said.
One comment Ms Frochot-Ryan highlighted was when someone wrote the children were dressed inappropriately and dancing to a "sleazy song".
The song featured in the Easter parade was Funky Monkey from the Disney film Rio.
"The kids were dressed completely appropriately," Ms Frochot-Ryan said.
"They don't wear make-up or get tanned. They just wear sports gear.
"I find it frustrating when people judge without knowing."
