Treasures will premiere on Australian music website Tone Deaf on Thursday. The EP will also be available on iTunes and Spotify.
"We really have Tone Deaf to thank for getting this premiere happening," lead singer Jack Kennedy said.
"We are pretty excited. I have hung on to the songs for a few years and there is a real sense of achievement (in releasing them)."
Jack and The Kids established themselves last year after Kennedy spent some time in 2013 doing solo gigs.
Their sound is reminiscent of The Jezabels with piano and drums combined for a strong sound.
"I had a handful of solo gigs before we got together at the end of 2013. We are just four mates in a band," he said.
"We played our first gig together at The Rifle in January of 2014."
Since that first gig, Jack and The Kids have had impressive gigs supporting bands The Kite String Tangle and Snakadaktal.
"They were both really good experiences and it is good to see (local) bands get that opportunity when bigger bands visit," Kennedy said.
"We were able to have a good chat with Danny from Kite String Tangle and find out how he feels about playing bigger festivals compared to somewhere like Star Bar."
Jack and The Kids will have a launch the EP in Bendigo on Thursday, May 7, at the Musicman Megastore.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Entry is $10 and the EP will be available on the night.
The band also has a gig in Melbourne on Friday, May 8, at Shadow Electric in Abbotsford.
