Born in Australia, Green moved to New York City in 1969 where she studied under Mark Rothko and Robert Motherwell.
Over the past 40 years she has maintained an equally integrated career between New York and Australia and was awarded the Order of Australia in 2007.
In this exhibition Green investigates states of feeling through her paintings, drawings and photographs of the Central Victorian landscape.
In Gallery Two, Mason Family Trust Awardee, Maree Santilla will explore the contradictions inherent in the human imagining, collection and display of the animal body.
Her exhibition Desiring the Undesirable will open this Wednesday.
