The quality of cattle presented was excellent and the competition was again very strong.

An excellent run of veal and young cattle came forward, the top vealer reached $2.46 per kilogram, holding very solid to the previous market.

Heavy steers were in good supply and condition was very good, prices were also very solid to slightly higher than the previous market with the top steer reaching $2.35.

Medium to heavy steers were in good supply as well, the top steer reached $2.40 per kilogram, also slightly dearer than last week's market.

A smaller yarding of excellent quality cows came forward with the top cow reaching $2.05 per kilogram, remaining fully firm to 5 cents dearer than last week.

Due to Lifetime Traceability scanning, cattle must be delivered to the Sale Yards by 9pm. All cattle must carry a NLIS ear tag before being transported.
