The duo is set to compete at the Australian Open and Australian Age Championships.
Both meets will be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
Kate and Cameron hail from the Bendigo East Swimming Club and train almost on a daily basis.
Since last year both swimmers have competed at numerous swim meets which have culminated in qualifying for the Australian Championships.
It will be Cameron's first time at the Australian titles.
"It's a great thrill to be able to compete at the championships having been there over the past five years watching Kate,” he said.
“I now get the opportunity to compete in my own right.”
Cameron will compete in the 12-13 years 100m and 200m breast-stroke.
Kate will be racing in her fifth Age Championships and third Open Championships.
She will be competing in the 50m and 100m breast-stroke at the Open Championships and the 17-18 years 100m and 200m butterfly and 100m and 200m breast-stroke at the Age Championships.
"To be able to swim against the best swimmers in Australia will be a challenge," Kate said.
"It is one I am truly looking forward to,” Kate said.
Coach Tony Rodda said the two young guns have shown great commitment in the lead up to the swimming meets.
The Open Championships begin on Friday and will finish on April 10 and the Age Championships will run from April 14 to 20.
