It will be one of the final chances to sign the book before it is presented to the Australian High Commissioner on behalf of Bendigo's Walk for Wheelchairs group at the Bomana War Cemetery in Papua New Guinea on April 25.
The Walk for Wheelchairs group, made up of 19 Bendigo businessmen, are trekking the Kokoda trail from April 16 to raise money to buy wheelchairs and walking aids for children whose families would otherwise struggle to afford them.
The trek will conclude on April 24 before the group join the Anzac Day dawn service at the Bomana War Cemetery in PNG's capital, Port Moresby.
Organiser Brendan Baker said president of Port Moresby RSL Glen Maitland had been really supportive of the book project and was rapt it would be presented at the dawn service.
"It will also be a good honour for us guys, we'll all be in our polo shirts and representing Bendigo," he said.
He encouraged all Bendigonians to get down to the markets on Friday to sign the book, which was half full but filling up fast.
"We want to take it over full, if we can," he said.
