Competing in the the under-13 boys division, Padgham won the 800m in 2:08.30; the 1500m in 4:24.66, and 300m hurdles in 42.66.
The Bendigo Little Athletics Centre was well represented at the two-day meet run at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park.
Emily Anderson won two gold medals and a bronze.
Results for Bendigo’s squad:
Under-9 girls - Emily Anderson, 80m hurdles 14.82 2nd; triple jump 8.01m 2nd; shot put 6.99m 3rd.
Under-11 girls - Tullie Rowe, 1500m 5:29.04 3rd.
Under-12 boys - Scott Johnson, 80m hurdles 13.11 2nd.
Under-14 boys - Ben Powell, 400m 53.88 2nd.
Under-15 boys - Lachie Johnson 100m hurdles 13.56 2nd.
Mackenzie Cooper, javelin 46.68m 2nd; shot put 14.45m 2nd.
Kyabram’s Riley Ironside cleared 1.68m to be a silver medallist in the under-13 boys high jump.
Ironside hurled the discus 39.42m to be runner-up.
This summer Ironside has competed with Eaglehawk at Athletics Bendigo’s senior competition.
Rochester’s Zahra Hayes achieved a time of 7:10.27 to be third in the under-14 girls 1500m walk.
Hayes competes with South Bendigo in Athletics Bendigo competition.
