Sanderson will take charge of the Pioneers' under-18s squad's training this Wednesday night at Epsom-Huntly Reserve from 5.30pm.
In his new role as the National Academy coach, Sanderson is aiming to visit all AFL Victoria TAC Cup clubs this year.
Bendigo Pioneers coach Brett Henderson said the session with Sanderson was a great opportunity.
"The knowledge Brett has and different techniques he brings are something all of our players will learn a lot from."
The Bendigo Pioneers play North Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Cup match on Good Friday at Epsom-Huntly Reserve.
Action kicks off with the under-16s at noon and will be followed by the under-18s at 2pm.
The Pioneers under-18s team is on the rebound from defeat to Murray Bushrangers in the club's opening game of the TAC Cup season.
