The donation was made for the second consecutive year.
The family, from Bendigo, made their first donation when they found out their one-year-old son Heath had pneumonia.
“In 2013, Heath had pneumonia and the staff down there did a great job,” Heath’s mother Katrina said.
Heath, who turns three in May, is very healthy.
Mrs Ogden’s friend’s daughter is being treated at the Royal Children’s Hospital for cancer.
The Ogden family are also supporting her with donations.
The lambs sold for $360 per head.
The buyers were from the Australian Lamb Company, Midfield Meats, Thomas Foods International and JBS.
The Ogden family also thanked their supporting agent Elders.
The family are planning on making an annual contribution to the Ronald McDonald House.
