Best known for his feats on the football field, Lock again showed great skill in the light heavyweight bout with Rob Thomson at Truscott Reserve.
It was not just Lock's jab that impressed, but also his ability to duck and weave in the 81kg division on the 14-bout card.
After a contest lasting three by two-minute rounds, judges were unaminous in awarding the victory to the hometown competitor.
Three of Lock's wins have been at the California Gully venue, which is the home of the Eaglehawk Soccer Club.
A focus on the jab in workouts paid off for the Scott Tuddenham-trained boxer.
"Rob (Thomson) was a tough opponent. The main thing was to work the jab (for points) and not allow him too many scoring punches," said Lock.
"To win before a home crowd is massive. The support from the Eaglehawk boys means a lot to me."
The 36-year-old said the plan was to continue with boxing.
"I am aiming to do as many fights as I can."
Lock's footy career includes 18 senior games with Carlton, being selected in the Bendigo Pioneers best team of 21 years, and best afield in an Eaglehawk grand final victory.
"Boxing is a huge challenge," said Lock.
"Competing is what I always want to do, no matter what sport it is.
"In a boxing match it's just me and my opponent."
Lock earned a $100 voucher from Athletes With Attitude for fight of the night.
Axedale twins Connor and Vaughn Stamm also fought on the card of the event promoted by their trainer Frank Pianto.
The quick hands and feet of the Stamms and their opponents was astounding.
Connor's bout with Nick De Marchi ended in a split-decision going the way of the Queenslander.
Vaughn took on another Queenslander, Bryce Schafer.
Another brilliant match ended in a one-point win for Schafer.
