Weeroona College student well-being leader Vern Hardie said the day represented the school's own version of the week long festival.
He said activities included everything from indigenous games and a traditional Karen dance to a gridiron session.
Mr Hardie said the day was organised and run by the students, including members of the SRC.
"We talked about running something at the school and then it was a combination of the SRC and myself coming up with a way to do it," he said.
"It's run by students, for students, they've chosen what activities to do and they have practiced and they're going to run them."
"It's about the whole idea of inclusion and making all activities inclusive for everybody."
