The Ravenswood family were astonished to find the lamb had an unusual 'birthmark'.
Darcy, as the lamb has affectionately been named, has a large, perfectly round, brown patch of wool in the middle of her back.
The Bickfords are quite taken with the lamb's unique appearance.
Mrs Bickford said a brown circle on the back of a white lamb was very unusual and she had never seen such a mark before.
"It almost looks like it's painted on it's so perfect," she said.
Mrs Bickford said Darcy's mother was unwell so her daughter Louise had taken on the task of bottle feeding Darcy.
Louise often looks after lambs and said she was surprised at Darcy's coat when she was born.
The Bickford family have a few hundred sheep and are gearing up for lambing season.
"Hopefully (Darcy) will integrate with the other sheep," Mrs Bickford said. She said Darcy's wool would not be able to be sold because it wasn't pure white.
She said the wool market favoured pure white wool.
"There's no advantage to what she's got it's just unusual that's all," Mrs Bickford said.
