The Splash Into Fun with Playgroup Victoria event ran from 10am to 1pm and formed part of National Playgroup Week activities.
Children’s activities included the Animals 2 U animal farm, interactive activities with Fusion Australia, storytelling with Bendigo Goldfields Library, face painting and helium balloons by Eaglehawk Secondary College students and a visit from Goldie the Wonder Dog.
Aimed at young families, especially those new to Greater Bendigo, the day also gave parents and carers had the opportunity discover what Greater Bendigo playgroups could offer their children including community, school-based and supported learning environments, as well as other local services.
