Bridegroom: Luke Percival
Wedding date: January 17, 2015
The meeting
We met in 2008 through a friend at The Pub one night. From there we became good friends and then started dating.
The proposal
It was December 23, 2013, our anniversary. We went to Mount Alexander for a bush walk and look around. After a couple of hours Luke popped the question and the answer of course was yes.
The wedding day
The day was just perfect; the weather was amazing. It was a fairly standard wedding day, starting at the hairdressers – Salon 383. Krystal and the girls did an amazing job with our hair and make-up – we looked great! The ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. we were married by Monsignor Frank Marriott. We were his last formal wedding before his retirement, which was a huge honour.
The dress
My dress was from Bendigo Bridal Collections. Bron and the staff were fantastic from finding the dress to the final fitting. Luke and the boys were dressed by Peter Anthony Menswear. They were great, very helpful with ensuring all of the boys had correct-fitting suits and were able to get the right style we were looking for.
The cake
Our cake was from Country Cakes. It was delicious and we received many compliments on style and taste.
The photographer
Jamie Harrison Photography. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and helped us feel very relaxed. The photos we received were lovely. He really captured us perfectly, both as individuals and as a couple.
The honeymoon
We went to Thailand – 10 nights in Khao Lak and three nights in Bangkok.
