Strathfieldsaye 15.13 (103) d South Bendigo 9.6 (60).
The Storm win their first senior final in the BFL in a game they had control of all night. Nick Smith, Jayden Donaldson and Vinnie Flood best for the Storm. Tom Bartholemew and Lachlan Sharp kicked three goals each.
Captain Brady Childs, Brook Martyn (three goals) and Marcus Varley the best for the Bloods, who have now lost in the elimination final two years in a row.
HEATHCOTE DISTRICT FOOTBALL LEAGUE - preliminary final
North Bendigo 19.16 (130) d Heathcote 10.9 (69).
The Bulldogs are through to their first grand final since 1998 with the 61-point win over Heathcote.
The Saints led five goals to one during the first quarter, before the Bulldogs controlled the rest of the match. Bulldogs' full-forward Michael Spooner kicked six goals, including his 100th of the season.
Aarryn Craig, Ash Craig, Rob Morris, Ryan Alford and Jordan Ford among the standouts for the red-hot Bulldogs.
Half-back Michael Hare was the best for Heathcote, which will miss its first grand final since 2007.
LODDON VALLEY FOOTBALL LEAGUE - second semi-final
Bridgewater 16.17 (113) d Pyramid Hill 8.7 (55).
Pyramid Hill was no match for Bridgewater, which is through to its third grand final in a row.
The Bulldogs didn't give a yelp in the first half as the Mean Machine went to the break leading by 57 points, 11.10 to 3.1.
Alexander Pollock (three goals), Taylor Strachan and captain Darren Clutton dominated for the Mean Machine.
Timonty Waller and Alistair Dwyer were the best for the disappointing Bulldogs.
NORTH CENTRAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE - first semi-final
St Arnaud 16.13 (109) d Wycheproof-Narraport 16.8 (104).
Having not won a game last year or played finals since 2007, St Arnaud is one win away from the grand final after its five-point win over Wycheproof-Narraport.
Saints coach James McNamee was the difference, booting nine goals, having only made the decision to play late after carrying a leg injury into the game.
MARYBOROUGH CASTLEMAINE DISTRICT FOOTBALL LEAGUE - qualifying finals
Maldon 12.87 (80) d Lexton 11.11 (77).
Carisbrook 11.9 (75) d Navarre 8.7 (55).
Maldon ended Lexton's 15-game winning streak with the upset three-point win, while Carisbrook kicked six goals to two after half-time to beat Navarre.
VFL - elimination final
Williamstown 11.17 (83) d Bendigo 10.11 (71).
Officially the last game of the 10-year Bendigo-Essendon alignment after the Gold's 12-point loss.
The Gold trailed by 30 points at three quarter-time, but got back to within five points late in the last term, before the Seagulls steadied.
Co-captains Ben Duscher and Trent Shinners, along with Steven Stroobants, the best for the Gold. Justin Maddern kicked three goals.
