CALIVIL will take a nothing to lose attitude into Saturday’s Northern United Cricket Association grand final against Colbinabbin.
Calivil finished second on the ladder, but a distant 57 points behind the undefeated Colbinabbin.
“I’d say they’ve got everything to lose, having not been beaten this season, and we’ve not nothing to lose,” Calivil skipper Garner Smith said on Friday.
“We’ll go out and give it all we’ve got.”
Saturday will be the first clash between the two teams this season after both home and away matches were washed out.
Calivil won its last flag in 2012 with a one-run win over Kamarooka.
Saturday’s grand final at Elmore starts at 1pm.
