Greenkeeper Brent Veale and his team of volunteers have put in many hours rolling, mowing and watering the greens.
South Bendigo Bowls Club director Mike Greenwood said the club was "extremely honoured" to have been chosen to host Sunday's grand finals for the BBD's top divisions.
"It was a courageous decision by the match committee to have the midweek and Saturday pennant grand finals played on the same day and same venue," Mr Greenwood said.
"It's a first for the BBD and will go a long way to lifting the profile of our sport."
Grand final day will be the biggest event run at South Bendigo since its division one team played Bendigo East under lights earlier in the 2014-15 season.
"Steve Glasson (Australian coach and multiple national champion) played as a guest for South Bendigo in what was another first for Bendigo's lawn bowls fraternity.
"He rated our greens the best in Australia," Mr Greenwood said.
The bowls action on Sunday begins at 9.30am when Inglewood takes on Bendigo East in the midweek pennant division one decider.
Bendigo and Bendigo East will contest the men's division one grand final from about 2.30pm.
The women's committee at South Bendigo will have morning and afternoon tea available.
The barbecue will be fired up from about 11am for the many spectators expected by the Palmerston Street greens.
