Truck driver collides with bridge at Malmsbury
A TRUCK driver has escaped serious injury after he collided with a guard rail on the Calder Freeway at Malmsbury in the early hours of Thursday morning.

An Ambulance Victoria Media spokesman John Mullen said the man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with cuts and abrasions.
Kyneton Police Acting Sergeant Murray Porter said south-bound lanes were blocked for a period of time and traffic was diverted through nearby towns.
The freeway has since be reopened.
