Bendigo Fashion Festival together with Connect Pink is offering to pamper, primp and preen six nominees as part of the festival calendar next month.

Participants will go in the running to win five nights’ accommodation on the Gold Coast as well as gift bags and store vouchers.

Festival organiser Raph Beh said hectic and harried schedules sometimes meant people lacked the time to treat themselves to some much-needed R & R.

Mr Beh said the festival makeover competition was their opportunity to kick up their heels and be treated by local retailers.

“The City of Greater Bendigo is proud to support this initiative of local traders and Connect Pick, to establish a fun activity in Hargreaves Mall for all to enjoy,” he said.

Makeover co-ordinator Haylee Kennedy said a number of stores had contributed make-up, hair styling, clothing and fashion accessories for the day.

But it was not too late to join the festivities and brighten someone’s day.

To enter, complete a form available from selected retailers explaining why your nominee deserves a makeover, by September 18.
