A 24-year-old Lockwood man was detected travelling at 118kmh in a 100kmh zone on the Calder Alternate at Marong at 2pm.
The man was found to have a disqualified licence and told police he was taking his girlfriend's car to be repaired.
A 45-year-old Kennington man pulled over for doing 124kmh in a 100kmh zone on the Bendigo-Raywood Roadat 2.45pm was found to be driving on a suspended licence.
Both men will receive summons and their vehicles will be impounded for 30 days.
Bendigo Highway Patrol Sergeant Geoff Annand said most vehicles impounded were for disqualifed driving and high speed offences, rather than "traditional hoon behaviour of burnouts and the like".
