A man and a woman from Koondrook were injured after the Nissan Navara they were driving was struck by a semitrailer on the Murray Valley Highway at Mystic Park on Thursday morning.

Paramedics were called to the scene just after 9.30am and Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the woman was treated for neck and shoulder pain and the man was treated for neck and chest pain at the scene.
The couple, both aged in their 70s, were taken to Swan Hill hospital from where the man was later airlifted to a hospital in Melbourne with neck injuries.
The woman suffered a suspected broken shoulder.
Sergeant Les McPhee of Swan Hill police said the semitrailer had been heading west on the Benjeroop-Tresco Road when the driver failed to stop at a give way sign at the intersection with the Murray Valley Highway and struck the Navara which was travelling north.
The 27-year-old driver of the semitrailer from New South Wales was issued with an infringement notice and fined $295 with a loss of three demerit points.
