Dellavedova’s Cavaliers were one of the most-hyped teams in the NBA off-season following the return of LeBron James from the Miami Heat and the signing of Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
A six-game losing streak earlier this month dropped the Cavs’ record below .500 to 19-20 as the side battled injury - James missed eight games - and trade disruptions.
However, the Cavs have bounced back with five wins in a row to be fifth in the eastern conference at 24-20.
“I think we’re starting to find a really good rhythm on both sides of the floor - defensively and offensively,” Dellavedova, from Maryborough, said in an interview with NBA Australia.
“Basketball’s a game where chemistry is important and just knowing how to play with each other.
“And I think now that we’ve almost got everyone back healthy, and had a few more practices and games with the guys that came in with the trades, we’re definitely finding a better rhythm.
“Hopefully, we can continue to build on that as we go on through the season.”
The Cavs extended their winning streak to five on Saturday when they thumped Charlotte 129-90 in a game where Dellavedova had five points, eight assists and three rebounds.
Dellavedova is averaging 4.5 points, 3.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds over the season.
