Secrets of Success is an eight hour workshop aimed at helping artists transform their creative passions into a successful career.
Paul Fischbach is the founder and chief executive of Auspicious Arts Incubator - an organisation founded in 2007 to improve business and marketing skills for independent artists and art organisations.
Mr Fischbach has helped thousands of artists all over Australia build their confidence and will host the seminar.
He said it was disappointing to see artists throwing in the towel because they did not have the business and marketing skills to succeed.
"The seminar will help artists to close the gap between their creative and business activities, providing professional development training and practical advice," he said.
"Almost half of the Australian population is engaged in some form of artistic creation but very few know how to make money from their efforts.
"The aim of the seminar is to help artists succeed in the competitive business landscape and capitalise on their creative talents."
City of Greater Bendigo arts and culture co-ordinator Maree Tonkin said the city welcomed the opportunity to bring the seminar to Bendigo.
"The recently adopted economic development strategy recognises the importance of supporting the growth of creative industries and the city is pleased to partner with the Auspicious Arts Incubator to further encourage people to turn a hobby into a business," Ms Tonkin said.
The seminar is on January 30 from 9.30am to 5.30pm in the Bendigo Bank Theatre at The Capital.
Tickets cost just $20 and the price includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
