A GRASS fire at Harcourt North on Wednesday, which is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike, was controlled just after 6pm.
More than 17 crews attended the blaze, which broke out about 5.20pm.
The CFA has issued an advice message.
The public is warned smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
A separate fire on Barkers Road, Harcourt on Wednesday was deemed safe at 5.30pm.
