The competition's number one seed, Watson will face fourth seed Anthony Tamborriello in the battle to reach the final.
It's been a great run by Bendigo's young star in the 16-under singles, AMT singles and doubles on Warrnambool's grasscourts.
Watson spent plenty of time on court in Monday's play.
A rain delay meant his first match did not start until 11.30am. He played his last rally of the day shortly before 7pm.
Watson hit off Monday's action with a 6-0 6-1 victory in the 16-under clash.
After qualifying for the AMT event, Watson hit off play in the main draw by scoring a 6-1 6-7 12-10 win.
The next match in the main draw ended in a 6-3 6-2 defeat.
Although disappointed not to have progressed further in the AMT event, Watson gained plenty of satisfaction from his results.
"I was really happy to qualify for the main draw and then to have a win," said the Catholic College Bendigo student.
His campaign in Warrnambool includes the AMT doubles.
Watson and Echuca's Erik Holt-Crossman are the number six seeds.
They are in the semi-finals following Monday's wins.
A 6-1 6-2 win was followed by a 4-1 5-3 victory to stay in the race for the doubles crown.
The Steve Storer-coached Watson said consistency had been a key to his run in Warrnambool.
