A grassfire was brought under control after the CFA issued a watch and act warning for Dooboobetic, near St Arnaud on Monday.

The fire had burnt through approximately 300 hectares by 1pm but was contained to a single property.
CFA regional duty officer Robyn McNally, said some fencing was lost to the fast running stubble fire but at no stage were any buildings under threat.
"Due to the quick action of the first arriving crew they were able to save a large header, a tractor, a boom spray and other farming equipment," he said.
Mr McNally said firefighters would be on site until late Monday and that smoke might be visible for 24 hours.
"Crews did a magnificent job to contain this fire to the size they did," he said.
