Brougham Arms had key players out but Quest performed well, sealing a memorable win.
Quest, 8-84 defeated Brougham Arms, 4-59.
Ryan Leader and Lynda Gallagher did the damage for Quest, winning their three sets.
The win means the third-placed Eppalock Fencing and the last placed Quest are now separated by seven points, setting the scene for a big second half of the season.
BLTC Rising Star edged past SG Eppalock Fencing, 7-71 to 5-62.
The Spring Gully Butterflies, 9-83 win against BLTC Metro, 3-54.
The Butterflies doubles prowess helped them to a sweep of the six sets on offer, while for Metro, only Zac Lethlean, Jordan Hicks and Sam Storer were able to win their singles.
The big win helped narrow the gap between the Brougham Arms and the second-placed Butterflies to eight points.
Section one: Spring Gully Racqueteers 6-71 defeated Spring Gully Phoenix 4-40. BLTC Stingers 8-73 won against BLTC Balls 2-42. Spring Gully Panthers 10-81 defeated BLTC Blue 0-28.
