Grandparents Cynthia and David took home a trailer-load of gifts on Friday, much to the delight of their extended family.
"I have two granddaughters and one is very happy with her stereo now and the little one who is only two was very happy with some of the toys," Cynthia said.
Cynthia's daughter was "overjoyed" with a new television, the trailer went to her son and Cynthia is ''thrilled" with a wheelbarrow.
But with so many gifts the couple decided they could not keep it all.
"My granddaughter and I took arm-fulls of toys to the Salvos today because there's a limit to how many toys one child can have," Cynthia said.
"The Salvation Army is always first in my mind and so that's where I took the gifts.
"That's a lovely thing to be able to do. I was pleased to give."
When she received the phone call telling her she had won, Cynthia was confused because she forgot she had bought a raffle ticket.
Cynthia said it was rare for her to win anything.
"I think we won the chook raffle once and that was about 30-something years ago."
Money raised from the raffle goes to charities such as Righteous Pups, Wildlife Rescue, Riding Develops Abilities, City of Bendigo Brass Band, 1st Bendigo Scout Group, Vietnam Veterans Assocation and Bendigo Animal Welfare.
Gifts won included a four stroke mower, mini sound system, 32-inch TV, coffee machine, kettle, electric drill, angle grinder, vacuum cleaner and and assortment of children's toys.
