With water cannons, tippy buckets, bubblers and water sequences, the park provides a unique way to keep cool this summer.
The equipment is on non-slip concrete and water continually drains away to be recycled and filtered.
Nash and Samantha Blake were among the first people test out the new splash park and their big smiles were a great tick of approval.
Residents voted on the winning design for the $570,000 project which features a gold-rush theme.
The splash park will be open from 9am to 8pm until the end of March next year.
