Highlights of the Diamonds run was gold at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The gold medal-winning team included Bendigo goalshooter Caitlin Thwaites, a finalist in the 50th Bendigo Bank Bendigo Advertiser-Prime 7 Sports Star of the Year award.
The Diamonds are in the AIS Team of the Year race with the Australian men's hockey team, also known as Kookaburras, and the Australian para rugby team, aka Steelers.
