The Grasshoppers and Redbacks will lock horns at Navarre on Saturday, April 11, with the remaining six games of round one to be played the following weekend.
Navarre defeated Carisbrook by 55 points in this year's grand final to not only cap an undefeated season, but also win back-to-back premierships.
Other games in round one next season will be:
Saturday, April 18 - Avoca v Dunolly; Campbells Creek v Lexton; Harcourt v Trentham; Royal Park v Natte Bealiba; Talbot v Rovers.
Sunday, April 19 - Maldon v Newstead.
The season will feature six night games in the opening four rounds, with Carisbrook and Trentham to each host three.
Each club will have thee breaks throughout the season.
There will be a general bye on the Queen's Birthday weekend, and a split round in round 14.
There will also be an inter-league bye on the weekend of May 23 when the MCDFNL hosts the Ellinbank District Football League at Princes Park.
Another feature of the 2015 fixture is a reduction in Sunday games.
All clubs will still play at least one Sunday game.
The season culminates with the grand final on Sunday, September 20.
