Each year the demand for help from Horizon House, which is run by St John of God Hospital, has kept on growing.
Those in charge at Horizon House and St John of God are doing all they can to improve accomodation services for those who are pregnant and homeless.
A goal is to provide more accomodation specifically for young pregnant women and women with babies.
Being a young mum can be daunting at the best of times, let alone adding the worry of searching for accomodation or being moved from house to house.
The board at Horizon House, chaired by founder Robert Cook, pictured, has and continues to deal with many complex situations.
Horizon has never shied away from any challenge.
They and other service providers have said many of the homeless have experienced violence and abuse, some from a young age.
Hoirzon's support will help more live in far more comfortable surroundings than before.
