She scored a massive 41 points in the 11 point win.
Point guard Kelly Wilson said there needs to be more of a team effort on Friday night.
"Belinda was a bit of a lone ranger in the points department when we played them last time," she said.
"This time around we as a team really need to step up and spread the load."
Wilson said if it wasn't for Snell's impressive performance then the Australian Pork Bendigo Spirit may have dropped that game and their position on the WNBL ladder.
Flames player Katie-Rae Ebzery has been a standout for Sydney this season, she has been averaging 17 points per game, three rebounds and two assists per game.
"It was only two weeks ago when we played them," Wilson said.
"It was a really tough game, they put on a lot of pressure, so we really need to improve on that performance and score that win before the Christmas break."
Wilson said a win on their home court on Friday night was exactly what the Spirit needed.
"There are a lot teams that are behind us that are playing well, so we just need to keep winning or else we will join the pack," she said.
Wilson, who missed the first two games of the season because of an Achilles injury, said she was finally getting confidence in her game.
"I am feeling good," she said.
"It has taken a while for me to get some confidence, but my match fitness is improving every week.
"Over the past two weeks in particular I feel my game has gotten better."
The second-placed Spirit will take on the fourth-placed Flames in their round 10 game at the Bendigo Stadium at 7.30pm on Friday.
